Happy Friday Scrapers;

You may have heard or were part of the big storm that hit southern Ontario on Wednesday. We hope everyone is okay, especially where it hit the hardest. We were fortunate to lose just the power which was finally restored at 4 pm today. I took the children to The Italian, it’s a real food place where people actually sit down and enjoy the meal, to have dinner. I am full and we all need to walk our meal off a bit before we sit around the tube to watch the hockey game. The playoffs are getting really exciting to watch at our house. So….

A storm is brewing outside. Tomorrow will be another wet day. It’s very humid and has been since this afternoon. We went to the beach today and there was fog in Vineland. It was only a matter of time before it blew our way. Took all day because there was very little wind all day. Oh there’s a big crackling and a rumble. Off I go.

Today I received two sad emails.
Scrap That Idea is closing their scrap store. Huge sale going on throughout the month of June.
Ellie Lash is retiring, again, Ginger Scraps is having a huge sale of her goods, unfortunately today is the last day so you would need to grab all you can from her store today. 
It’s sad when great designers say good-bye.

As I sit here I am covered in sweat from the high humidity and it just started raining. Into the tub I will be heading after this post. LOL

Hello Scrapers;

It’s been one rainy filled month. It’s storming again as I write, with crossed fingers. Our utilities haven’t given up on us yet as they use to. The fix it men must have done a grand job keeping our area connected after the last black out.
